Republic of Turkey Under the BKS (Individual Participation Capital) Regulation published by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance on February 15, 2013, investors holding a BKY (Individual Participation Investor) license may deduct 75% or 100% of the investments they make through an accredited Angel Investor Network from their personal income tax base within the same year.
To qualify for a BKY license, investors must first meet at least one of the criteria defined for high-income or high-net-worth investors or experienced investors.
To benefit from the tax exemption, licensed investors must meet the criteria specified in the BKS regulations and hold their shares in the startups they invest in for at least two full years.
BKY license applications can only be submitted through Angel Investor Networks accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
